  • The Physician Support Line Support line run by volunteer psychiatrists to help physicians, trainees & med students 888-409-0141 This is free & anonymous @PhysicianLine

  • SAFEUT/Frontline Workers This is a service available to Utah frontline workers-be connected with help immediately, 24/7. More states are creating resources like this!

  • Don't Clock Out is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the mental health of healthcare workers. Check out their podcast, resources, and their peer support groups

  • Many of you are familiar with First Descents as Dr. Glaucomflecken's favorite charity. They have started offering excursions for frontline workers. This group is amazing. 

  • DocWorking.com endorsed by the amazing @drjessigold DocWorking.com offers individual & institution level counseling & coaching services for physicians & healthcare workers

POPULATIONS

  • Movember: find more information on suicide prevention, mental health resources, & mens health resources

  • Live Another Day - Extensive information on mental health and substance use resources for BIPOC. Their mission is equal access to life-saving resources. 

  • Detox Local - An excellent resource that features abundant information including mental health and substance use resources specifically for the AAPI (American Asian and Pacific Islander) community.

  • Federation of State Physician Health Programs - Every state has one. Please help advocate to get questions regarding an individuals' history of mental health treatment OFF of the licensure questionnaire. Fear of past treatment coming up on license applications can prevent our med students, residents & physicians from seeking help. Many states have also passed laws about getting help outside of your network to reduce the stigma & fear of being treated by their colleagues!
